Yinlong Awarded Science and Technology Advance Prize for Green Manufacturing

In recent days, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society published the result for “Science and Technology Advance Prize for Green Manufacturing”, in which Yinlong was awarded second prize for its project “Green and Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Equipment for New Energy LTO Batteries”. It shows high approval for Yinlong’s LTO batteries manufacturing technology and equipment.

Pushing the Upgrading of Green Manufacturing Technology and Equipment for Lithium Battery

The “Science and Technology Advance Prize for Green Manufacturing” is set up by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society to encourage the manufacturing industry to focus on the development tendency of environmental and national economy, and to commend and reward manufacturing enterprises that have made significant achievement with respect to energy conservation, environmental protection and green manufacturing, especially to private enterprises that actively invest in the research and development and application of green manufacturing technology and have made outstanding progress. Since it was set up and started evaluation in 2011, this prize has been given out for a 9 consecutive year. It has achieved good results in pushing forward the research and development and promotion of green manufacturing technology.

The candidates of the prize have to go through preliminary, second and final evaluation. Yinlong stood out in the process with its project “Green and Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Equipment for New Energy LTO Batteries” and received second prize in the category “Science and Technology Advance Prize for Green Manufacturing”. With reducing energy consumption, improving energy efficiency and lowering emission as its goal, this project relies on Yinlong's LTO battery manufacturing technology and intelligent manufacturing equipment, and integrates advanced manufacturing technologies such as green energy utilization, surplus energy recycling, energy regeneration, and intelligent energy technological system, building an LTO green manufacturing technology and equipment system that belongs to Yinlong.

This project, when realized can reduce 2850 tons of exhaust gas emission, 4214 tons of standard coal consumption, 11462 tons of carbon dioxide emission and 67 tons of sulfur dioxide and oxynitride every year. It's been implemented in new energy battery manufacturing companies and achieved significant economical and social benefits. It helps to further the development of new energy industry, and promotes the upgrading of green manufacturing technology and equipment for lithium batteries, providing critical support to building a green and ecological environment for the country.

Technological Strength to Promote a Green Manufacturing System

Over the past 40 years of reform and opening-up, China's manufacturing enterprises have steadily advanced the pace of intelligent and green development through technological transformation, industrial transformation and upgrading. As a global strategic emerging industry, new energy vehicles are the focus of promoting green development, energy conservation and emission reduction. Recently, Xiao Yaqing, minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that over the past five years, China has built 2121 green factories, 171 green industrial parks and 189 green supply chain enterprises, promoted nearly 20,000 kinds of green products, and brought more than 4.87 million new energy vehicles into the power battery traceability management platform, and the green manufacturing system has taken initial shape.

In the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial revolution, Yinlong Energy adheres to being market demand-oriented, continues to increase technology research and development investment, promotes industrial transformation and upgrading with green and intelligent manufacturing, and enhances the core competitiveness of the enterprise. Take the Yinlong self-developed LTO materials as an example. Yinlong develops the high purity “Yinlong Titianate” materials through the integration of nanotechnology and structural control technology, which optimizes the electrochemical performance of LTO materials. Thanks to these technologies, Yinlong LTO batteries have the advantages of high safety, fast charge and discharge, wide working temperature (- 50 ~ 60 ℃), and long service life, boosting the positive development of new energy vehicles industry.

In addition to boosting green development, Yinlong LTO battery can also effectively alleviate low temperature anxiety and safety anxiety typical of new energy buses. In winter, the power batteries of most buses have problems of power attenuation and slow charging. The dynamic performance of Yinlong LTO battery can maintain normal even at low temperature. It can complete charging and discharging within the ultra-wide temperature range of -50℃~60℃ without attenuation, which ensures the normal operation of the vehicle at low temperature. At present, Yinlong new energy buses have been put into operation in Beijing, Harbin, Baotou and other northern cities.

In 2021, Yinlong Energy will continue to achieve rapid growth by promoting a green manufacturing system and introduce innovative technology and momentum into the new energy automobile industry, helping to build a green ecological environment.
