With the theme of "Holding the Bottom Line of Energy Storage Safety and Promoting Industrial Innovation and Development", industrial experts from all over the world, representatives from industry-academy-research institutions and enterprises such as Yinlong Energy gathered in the conference.

The organizer of the conference has again joint hands with the China Energy Storage(industrial news media) to hold the selection events for the awards of “Most Influential in China Energy Storage Industry”. In the "14th Five-Year Plan", improving the flexibility of the power system, ensuring high proportion of new energy consumption, and guaranteeing security and stability of the power system are some of the urgent problems to be solved. The conference will further discuss the research and layout of the full life cycle of energy storage technology towards high safety, low cost, long service life and resource reuse. It will also promote the large-scale application of advanced large-capacity energy storage system technology in power grid where renewable energy is the dominant energy source, and effectively build a market-oriented green technology innovation system.

In the special forum, Jiang Shiyong, vice president of Yinlong Energy, delivered a keynote speech titled "High Security LTO Energy Storage Helping to Build a New Power System". He said that at present, we have seen fire accidents of different degrees in the application of energy storage system in the grid side, the generation side, and the user side, mostly resulted from the large number of cells, high operating power or demanding management of the station-based energy storage system, all of which increased the safety risk in actual application of energy storage. Therefore, it is urgent to improve the safety level of the supporting energy storage system for new energy power generation station.

At the conference, Chen Qingquan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, sent a video from Hong Kong, in which he commented that: "I think that a healthy development of the energy storage industry should always put the safety of batteries in the first place. After years of practice, it has been proved that Yinlong LTO battery is one of the safest batteries in the field of lithium batteries." Academician Chen also said that Yinlong LTO battery not only has excellent safety performance, but also has advantages of high rate, fast charge and discharge, wide working temperature, and long service life. Yinlong LTO energy storage system has a broad market prospect and application value in special application scenarios such as power grid frequency modulation, backup power and capacity extension, in which the strengths of LTO energy storage system can be made full use of.

As shown in the reports of the immersion and gunshot performance tests carried out by   the test center of the Weaponry and Equipment Research Institute of China South Industries Group Corporation and the Quality Supervision and Test Center of Special Chinese Weaponry and Equipment Product, no air leakage or electric leakage was observed in Yinlong battery after being immersed in water for 2 hours, and no explosion or fire occurred after the battery was shot under natural temperature.

The Yinlong system solution for integration of photovoltaic power generation, energy storage and charging that won the award of “Best System Solution for Integration of Photovoltaic Power Generation, Energy Storage and Charging in Chinese Energy Storage Industry” this time adopted the ultra-safe Yinlong LTO batteries and is a micro grid of intelligent energy ecosystem made up of photovoltaic power generation system, LTO container ESS and intelligent charging system. This system solution can be connected and interact with the public grid intelligently according the demand for power, and it has five working modes including on-grid and off-grid mode.
